Welcome to Photo-Paradox Photography

Julia Washburn; Willapa Bay, WA 2007My name is Julia Washburn. Photography is my passion and takes up most of my free time. I love the outdoors; either it is an urban city or wilderness of a National Park I’ll always find something interesting to photograph. My favourite subjects are landscapes, flowers, structures and bridges. Recently I also found joy in wildlife photography.

The Northwest is a very pretty place, and there are a lot of places to see. On the weekends I like to explore the places I’ve been to before, like Nisqually Refuge, or visit new places such as the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon or Eastern Washington. In my photography I’m striving for the ‘wow’ factor.

My photography progressed tremendously after I started taking part in photo workshops provided by ImageNorthwest. It is fun, and provides hands on experience. For beginning photographers out there, I would recommend joining one of these photo workshops, it is a great experience.

I invite you to explore my website just as if you were exploring the Northwest.
